If you would like to see in detail the day trip I made last Sunday to the Glacier National Park, I recorded it with my Cellphone+GPS and saved in KML format. Please right-click here and “Save as…” to a file and then open it with Google Earth:

I’ve just come back from a long weekend in:
It was a long journey from Vancouver but at least I saw the Glacier National Park

(kind of foggy, isn’t it?)
Driving on the countryside I saw all the beautiful autumn colors:

and I found cryptic messages:

I also had particular encounters:

and I probably visited 1000 lakes:

On a road trip the best thing that can happened is to catch on the radio the perfect song for that perfect road: I got Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits, of course) on a lonely road in Idaho… I’m sure Gabriele (a.k.a. the Racoon) knows what I’m talking about!
I would like to mention that when you get closer to Seattle more than half of the radio stations are playing rock/hard-rock/metal music so I tuned for 4 hours on 97.1 for only hard-rock classic… great stuff!
On the way back to Vancouver I got my toy…

IT’S OUT OF THIS WORLD!
