iPod price history

If Steve last Wednesday cut $200 off the 8Gb iPhone, one third of the price, what should happend to the iPod touch?

Nobody knows, but Apple normally keeps the price quite stable. I made a quick search about the price history of the iPod video 80Gb (here, here, here)
and the iPod Nano 4GB (here, here, here).

To me it seems there’s no price changes within the same generation. Again, every iPod model seems to move to the next generation every 7-12 months.

Conclusion: I’m now thinking that $299 (€228 delivered here) could be a reasonable price for an 8Gb iPod touch until the next summer… no? What about the 16Gb at €313 delivered at my door? (8 more Gb for €85)

Rugby World Cup 2007

Here it is! Today the Rugby World cup has started! I will support Italy (of course), and after the first round Ireland! Indeed! Here the qualifications schedule with the time for both Central Europe and Pacific timezones.

Engraved iPod text

Hi everybody, in the next few days I going to make me a Birthday gift (capital “B”), the new iPod touch. If you order it via Internet you can decide to engrave 2 lines of text behind it but I don’t really know what to write! Any advice???

For the moment I have only 2 (very banal) ideas:

1) site and email address, in case I loose it and some good fella want to….
